The practical details
Questions about Counsel.
What is included, how the feedback works, and what to expect at launch.
What is Counsel by Aura?
Counsel is OSCE practice for pharmacy learners. You meet a responsive simulated patient, review the encounter using PEBC-informed practice criteria, and retry the same station. Timed Rx Checking is included as a separate practice mode.
Is the feedback an official PEBC score?
No. Counsel uses practice feedback informed by public PEBC materials and released sample-station rubrics. It is not an official PEBC score, result prediction, or endorsement.
What appears in the debrief?
The debrief includes an encounter summary, safety signals, 1 to 4 practice ratings for Communications, Outcome, and Overall Performance, and evidence from the transcript. You can also review a model answer and retry the same station.
Can I review what I said?
Yes. Counsel captures a transcript and links feedback to specific turns. When a recording is available, you can replay or download the encounter.
What is Rx Checking?
Rx Checking is a separate timed practice mode inside Counsel. You compare the prescription, patient identifiers, label, receipt, and stock product, then decide whether an error is present.
Is Counsel included with the question bank?
Counsel is planned as a separate product from the Aura Pharm Academy question bank. We will share final launch details with the early access list.
When will Counsel launch?
Counsel is in active development. Join the early access list for launch updates and an invitation when access opens.
