How packs, bundles and access periods work.
Can I extend my Question Bank access?
Returning paid Question Bank customers from a six- or twelve-month term can purchase three more months for CA$150 using their original account. Active access extends from its expiry; expired access restarts from purchase. You can purchase another three-month extension later. The CA$449 twelve-month plan is an upfront purchase; there is no later CA$100 upgrade from six to twelve months.
What counts as a practice minute?
OSCE practice minutes cover connected time in simulated patient or professional conversations, including listening and thinking time. Reading the brief, connection setup, reviewing feedback and Rx checking do not use practice minutes.
Who can buy top-ups?
Top-ups are for customers who have already purchased a Counsel 250, 500 or 1,000 pack, or a paid Question Bank + Counsel bundle. Use the same account during that purchase’s six-month Counsel access period or within one calendar month after it expires. After that, choose a new main pack. Gift minutes and top-ups alone do not qualify.
How long do my practice minutes last?
Every Counsel pack includes a fixed allowance, usable for six months from purchase. The standard Question Bank bundle includes 250 practice minutes, with 500- and 1000-minute options. Counsel lasts six months even with twelve-month Question Bank access. Top-ups have their own six-month duration.
Can I keep practising Rx if my practice minutes run out?
Yes. Unlimited Rx checking continues for your full six-month Counsel access period, even after the practice allowance reaches zero.
Do packs renew automatically?
No. Packs and bundles are one-time purchases. Practice minutes do not reset monthly. A later pack or top-up has its own duration.
Does pass support include Counsel?
The Question Bank pass-support extension applies to Question Bank access only. It does not add practice minutes or extend Counsel's six-month expiry.
